Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides novel serine proteases, novel genetic material encoding these enzymes, and proteolytic proteins obtained from Micrococcineae spp., including but not limited to Cellulomonas spp. and variant proteins developed therefrom. In particular, the present invention provides protease compositions obtained from a Cellulomonas spp, DNA encoding the protease, vectors comprising the DNA encoding the protease, host cells transformed with the vector DNA, and an enzyme produced by the host cells. The present invention also provides cleaning compositions (e.g., detergent compositions), animal feed compositions, and textile and leather processing compositions comprising protease(s) obtained from a Micrococcineae spp., including but not limited to Cellulomonas spp. In alternative embodiments, the present invention provides mutant (i.e., variant) proteases derived from the wild-type proteases described herein. These mutant proteases also find use in numerous applications.
(FR) L'invention concerne de nouvelles sérine protéases, un nouveau matériel génétique codant ces enzymes et des protéines protéolytiques obtenues à partir de l'espèce Micrococcineae, y compris mais de manière non restrictive, l'espèce Cellulomonas et des protéines variantes qui en résultent. L'invention concerne notamment des compositions de protéases obtenues à partir d'une espèce Cellulomonas, l'ADN codant ladite protéase, des vecteurs comprenant l'ADN codant ladite protéase, des cellules hôtes transformées par l'ADN vecteur et une enzyme produite par les cellules hôtes. L'invention concerne également des compositions nettoyantes (par ex. des compositions détergentes), des compositions d'aliments pour animaux, ainsi que des compositions de traitement pour textiles et cuirs, comprenant de la (des) protéase(s) obtenue(s) à partir de l'espèce Microccoccineae, y compris mais de manière non restrictive, l'espèce Cellulomonas. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne des protéases mutantes (c.-à-d. variantes) dérivées de protéases de type sauvage, décrites dans la présente invention.
