Abstract:
(EN) Method for lossless compression of an original dataset (D l) in a binary format, including a sequence of a first number (N1) of set bits and a second number (NO) of clear bits, wherein the method: - determines a ranking number (RN) of the sequence of set bits and clear bits in the original dataset (D1) relative to a number (TC) of possible combinations including the first number (N1) of set bits and the second number (NO) of clear bits, and - generates an encoded dataset (D2) which includes the ranking number (RN), the ranking number (RN) being a lossless compressed representation of the original dataset (D 1).
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour compresser sans perte un ensemble de données (D1) original dans un format binaire, comprenant une séquence d'un premier nombre (N1) de bits d'ensemble et un second nombre (NO) de bits en clair. Ledit procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : déterminer un nombre de classement (RN) de la séquence des bits d'ensemble et des bits en clair dans l'ensemble de données (D1) original par rapport à un nombre (TC) de combinaisons possibles comprenant le premier nombre (N1) des bits d'ensemble et le seconde nombre (N0) des bits en clair ; et produire un ensemble de données (D2) codé comprenant le nombre de classement (RN), ce dernier étant une représentation compressée sans perte de l'ensemble de données (D1) original.
