Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a suspension that can be used to generate a current of electrons, which suspension comprises a polypeptide, wherein the polypeptide is entrapped in a hollow particle. It furthermore relates to the use of the suspension described above for the production of a battery. More specifically the present invention relates to the use of the suspension described above for the production of a nano-battery for the use in combination with a microchip. The present invention also relates to a battery using the suspension described above. In another aspect the present invention relates to a fuel cell, comprising: an anode compartment including an anode; a cathode compartment including a cathode; and disposed within said anode compartment, within said cathode compartment, or between said anode compartment and said cathode compartment, the suspension described above. In addition the present invention relates to a device for detection of a solute using the suspension described above, and more specifically to a device for the detection of glucose. In still another aspect the present invention relates to a method of producing electrical power, comprising the use of the suspension described above. Furthermore the invention relates to a method for preparing the suspension described above, comprising the steps of (a) making an aqueous solution of bis(2,2'-bipyridine)ruthenium(II)bis(pyrazolyl); (b) injecting a solution containing polystyrene-b-poly(L-isocyanoalanine(2-thiophen-3-yl-ethyl)amide) in THF into the solution made in step (a) preferably also comprising (c) placing the dispersion made in step (b) at 60 °C; (d) cooling the dispersion to room temperature, and (e) filter the dispersion of step (d) using a filter with a cutoff of 100 kDa.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une suspension utilisable pour la génération d'un courant d'électrons, laquelle suspension comprend un polypeptide piégé dans une particule creuse. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de cette suspension pour produire un accumulateur électrique. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement l'utilisation de cette suspension pour la production de nano-accumulateurs utilisés en association avec un microcircuit. L'invention concerne aussi un accumulateur utilisant la suspension de l'invention. Pour un autre aspect, l'invention concerne une pile à combustible comprenant un compartiment anode contenant une anode, un compartiment cathode contenant une cathode, et, disposé à l'intérieur du compartiment anode, à l'intérieur du compartiment cathode, ou entre le compartiment anode et le compartiment cathode, la suspension de l'invention. En outre, l'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de détecter un soluté utilisant la suspension de l'invention, et plus particulièrement un dispositif destiné à la détection de glucose. Pour encore un autre aspect, l'invention concerne un procédé de production d'électricité, avec utilisation de la suspension de l'invention. Enfin, l'invention concerne un procédé d'élaboration de la suspension de l'invention. En effet, (a) on commence par faire une solution aqueuse de bis(2,2'-bipyridine)ruthénium(II)bis(pyrazolyle). (b) On prend ensuite une solution de polystyrène-b-poly(L-isocyanoalanine(2-thiophène-3-yl-éthyl)amide) dans le THF, et (c) on l'injecte dans la solution obtenue en (a). Ensuite, de préférence, (c) on prend la dispersion de (b), et on la chauffe à 60 °C. (d) On laisse la dispersion refroidir jusqu'à température ambiante. (e) On filtre la dispersion de (d) avec un filtre arrêtant à 100 kDa.
