(EN)Disclosed are ionically conductive membranes for protection of active metal anodes and methods for their fabrication. The membranes (100) may be incorporated in active metal negative electrode (anode) structures and battery cells. In accordance with the invention, the membrane has the desired properties of high overall ionic conductivity and chemical stability towards the anode (106), the cathode (112) and ambient conditions encountered in battery manufacturing. The membrane is capable of protecting an active metal anode (106) from deleterious reaction with other battery components or ambient conditions while providing a high level of ionic conductivity to facilitate manufacture and/or enhance performance of a battery cell in which the membrane is incorporated.
(FR)L'invention concerne des membranes à conduction ionique servant à protéger des anodes métalliques actives, ainsi que des procédés de fabrication associés. Ces membranes peuvent être intégrées dans des structures d'électrode métallique négative active (anode) et dans des éléments de batterie. Les membranes selon l'invention présentent de bonnes propriétés générales de conductivité ionique et de stabilité chimique par rapport à l'anode, à la cathode et aux conditions inhérentes à la fabrication de batteries. Ces membranes peuvent protéger une anode métallique active contre une réaction délétère avec d'autres composants de batterie ou avec les conditions ambiantes, tout en fournissant un niveau élevé de conductivité ionique qui facilite la fabrication et/ou qui améliore les performances d'un élément de batterie contenant une membrane selon l'invention.
