Title (EN) OPTICAL DISK-RESTORING APPARATUS
(FR) DISPOSITIF DE RESTAURATION DE DISQUE OPTIQUE
Abstract:
(EN) In order to achieve substantially uniform pressing pressure in an optical disk-restoring apparatus, a surface of a turntable (41) and/or a sheet (45) is provided with at least either of an inclined or stepped form and a curved form. The apparatus is provided with a first polishing body-holding portion for holding polishing bodies, a second polishing body-holding portion for rotatably holding one of the polishing bodies, pressing/separating means for pressing together or separating from each other the polishing bodies and the one of the polishing bodies that is held by the second polishing body-holding portion, and a driving portion for rotating the second polishing body-holding portion. The structure above enables to simplify and downsize the apparatus, and also enables that, when plural polishing bodies are used, polishing is performed by pressing only an appropriate polishing body to an optical disk, the appropriate polishing body being in accordance with steps of a restoring process.
