(EN)A weatherseal has a backbone (30), which is curvilinear in cross section to define a flange engaging channel (40) and a window receiving channel (50), wherein the backbone (30) is free of structural metal. The backbone (30) is sufficiently curvilinear to sufficiently distribute stress loading within the cross section to allow unsupported lengths of the weatherseal to operably retain, locate and direct the glass panel (14). The flange engaging channel (44) can include an arcuate closed end.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un caoutchouc d'étanchéité présentant une armature (30), laquelle est curviligne dans sa section transversale de manière à définir un passage de maintien de bride (40) et un passage de réception de fenêtre (50).
