(EN)A self-cleaning transparent structure is described herein having dust resistant qualities and improved optical qualities. A transparent surface (10) is provided with randomly positioned protrusions (12) attached to a transparent surface. The protrusions act upon particles (18) that settle on the protrusions, by diminishing the particles surface adhesion. Furthermore, the transparent features of the transparent surface are no diminished, since the period between each protrusion is less than the wavelength of visible light.
(FR)La présente invention concerne une structure transparente autonettoyante présentant de bonnes qualités de résistance à la poussière et des qualités optiques accrues. Il s'agit en l'occurrence d'une surface transparente (10) sur laquelle tiennent des reliefs (12) distribués de façon aléatoire. Ces reliefs ont pour effet de diminuer l'adhésion superficielle des particules (18) qui se déposent sur eux. En outre, les caractéristiques de transparence de la surface ne sont amoindries étant donné que la période entre chaque relief est inférieure à la longueur d'ondes de la lumière visible.
