Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an information storage medium and to a method for producing this storage medium. According to the invention, which primarily concerns hard disks of computers, an information storage medium is formed, which comprises a front face (32) that is essentially flat and a rear face, said storage medium being read and/or written by a device placed facing the front face. The rear face has hollow areas (28) and all or a portion of the lateral walls and/or the bottom of these areas is/are covered by a magnetic deposit (34). The distance separating the front face from the deposit is large enough to permit the device to read and/or write the information into this deposit.
(FR) Support de stockage d'informations et procédé de fabrication d'un tel support. Conformément à l'invention, qui s'applique notamment aux disques durs des ordinateurs, on forme un support de stockage d'informations comprenant une face avant (32) sensiblement plane et une face arrière, ce support étant lu et/ou écrit par un dispositif placé en regard de la face avant. La face arrière comprend des zones en creux (28) et tout ou partie des parois latérales et/ou le fond de ces zones est recouvert d'un dépôt magnétique (34), la distance séparant la face avant du dépôt étant telle que le dispositif puisse lire et/ou écrire les informations dans ce dépôt.
