(EN)A process enabling the measurement of the internal volume of a closed vessel (2), either gastight or non-gastight, by means of a permeation test in a 'quasi-static' modality, with or without a prior tightness test. The tests are carried out by connecting the vessel (2) to a measurement device (1) consisting of a membrane (4) and a pressure gauge (5) - the measurement device being connected to a measurement gas supply, or to a gas extraction system, via a valve (6). The measurement apparatus also includes a second pressure gauge (7) and a thermometer (8) as well as a timer. By using a membrane (4) of known permeance, after having calculated a possible cor­rective term for any leakages, the relation linking the various parameters is resolved with respect to volume.
(FR)Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant de mesurer le volume interne d'un récipient fermé (2) étanche ou non étanche aux gaz, au moyen d'un test de perméation en mode quasi statique, avec ou sans test d'étanchéité préalable. On effectue les tests en reliant le récipient (2) à un dispositif de mesure (1) comprenant une membrane (4) et un manomètre (5), le dispositif de mesures étant relié à une source de gaz de mesure ou à un système d'extraction de gaze, par l'intermédiaire d'une vanne (6). L'appareil de mesure comprend également un second manomètre (7) et un thermomètre (8) ainsi qu'une minuterie. En utilisant une membrane (4) de perméance connue, après avoir calculé un terme correctif possible pour toute fuite éventuelle, on résout la relation reliant les divers paramètres par rapport au volume.
