Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a predictive tool for predicting Apnea Hypopnea Index (AHI) in the diagnosis of Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The predictive tool is developed by recording pulse oximetry readings (104), and obtaining delta index, oxygen saturation times and oxygen desaturation events from the oximetry readings (106). A multivariate non-parametric analysis (110) and bootstrap aggregation is performed to obtain predictive models (112) which can be used to predict AHI in an individual (114) and to classify an individual as having or not having OSA.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un outil de prévision permettant de prévoir un index d'apnées-hypopnées (AHI) lors du diagnostic de l'apnée obstructive du sommeil (AOS). L'outil de prévision décrit dans cette invention est élaboré par enregistrement de relevés d'oxymétrie pulsée (104), puis obtention d'un index delta, les temps de saturation en oxygène et les épisodes de désaturation en oxygène, à partir des relevés d'oxymétrie (106). Un regroupement d'une analyse non paramétrique à variables multiples (110) et d'un amorçage est réalisé de manière à obtenir des modèles prédictifs (112) qui peuvent être utilisés pour prévoir un index d'apnées-hypopnées chez un individu (114) et pour déterminer si un individu souffre ou non d'apnée obstructive du sommeil.
