Abstract
(EN) This invention is related to an electro-welded joint for building metal wire meshes by folding the ends of metal elements or rods (10) to form a hook over another, transverse metal element, with an electro-welded finish (12) to join said fold to itself with the aim of reinforcing the mesh panel thus formed. The mesh panel thus formed by carrying out the invention is used for the formation of gabions (20) in civil construction works, especially retaining walls. Said joint folded over to form a hook is produced by MIG welding instead of the spot welding which is employed in similar structures for this type of mesh.
(ES) La presente invención se relaciona con un tipo de unión para conformar mallas metálicas que incluye el doblado de un extremo de un elemento metálico a manera de gancho sobre otro elemento metálico transversal, con un remate de soldadura eléctrica para unir dicho doblez sobre si mismo a fin de impartir una resistencia al panel de malla que se va conformando. La malla así conformada por aplicación del invento se utiliza para la conformación de gaviones de obras civiles de construcción especialmente muros de contención. El tipo de unión por doblez en gancho y soldado se ejecuta con 15 soldaduras MIG a cambio de las uniones por punto que para este tipo de mallas se aplica en estructuras similares.
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à un joint de soudure électrique pour la formation de mailles métalliques par repliement des extrémités d'éléments métalliques ou de tiges (10) de manière à former un crochet s'étendant autour d'un autre élément métallique transversal, avec une finition de soudure électrique (12) reliant à lui-même le pli ainsi formé afin de renforcer le panneau maillé ainsi formé. La maille ainsi formée par la mise en oeuvre de l'invention sert à former les gabions (20) d'ouvrages de génie civil, et notamment de murs de soutènement. Ledit joint replié de manière à former un crochet est réalisé par soudage MIG plutôt que par le soudage par points utilisé dans les structures analogues pour les mailles du type précité.
