Abstract:
(EN) A method for enabling a user terminal to receive packet data in a mobile communication system supporting a packet data service. In the method, a radio network controller receives a session start message from a core network, determines whether or not an FA including the user equipment supports the MBMS service, and transmits a notification message, which contains cell reselection information used when the user equipment moves into an FA supporting the MBMS service, to the user equipment when the user equipment is located in an FA which does not support the MBMS service.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à permettre à un terminal utilisateur de recevoir des paquets de données dans un système de communication mobile prenant en charge un service de transmission de paquets de données. Selon ce procédé, un contrôleur de réseau radio reçoit un message de début de session en provenance d'un réseau central, détermine si une zone de fréquence (FA) comprenant l'équipement utilisateur prend en charge un service MBMS, et transmet un message de notification à l'équipement utilisateur lorsque celui-ci se trouve dans une FA ne prenant pas en charge le service MBMS, ledit message contenant des informations de resélection de cellule utilisées quand l'équipement utilisateur se déplace dans une FA prenant en charge le service MBMS.
