Abstract
(EN) When recording information in tracks or in a two-dimensional pattern care must be taken not to irradiate the adjacent tracks or pits. This results in a loss of data density on the recording medium because of the track pitch or pit distance that must be observed. A reduction in track pitch is possible to the point where the focused spot of the laser also irradiates the adjacent land area and tracks or pits. This increases the achievable data density of the recording medium. By using grooves and/or by using a dye with special absorption characteristics the effect of the irradiation of the adjacent tracks or pits can be reduced, effectively only recording marks in the desired location.
(FR) Lorsque l'on enregistre des informations dans des pistes ou motifs bidimensionnels, il faut faire attention à ne pas irradier les pistes ou alvéoles adjacentes. Cela cause une perte de densité de données sur le support d'enregistrement, étant donné qu'il faut respecter une certaine distance entre les pistes ou alvéoles. Il est possible de réduire la distance entre les pistes jusqu'au point où la tache laser focalisée irradie également la zone des plages adjacentes, ou les pistes ou alvéoles adjacentes. Cela permet d'augmenter la densité possible de données sur le support d'enregistrement. On peut réduire l'effet de l'irradiation des pistes ou alvéoles adjacentes si l'on utilise des rainures et/ou un colorant ayant des propriétés spéciales d'absorption, de sorte que les marques ne soient enregistrées qu'aux emplacements voulus.
