(EN)A capping and nitrogen dosing apparatus (10) for containers includes a rotary capping machine (12) which is configured to serially receive filled containers (C), and apply closures (CL) to respective ones of the containers. The present apparatus includes a dosing system (16) for injecting an inert gas, typically nitrogen in liquid form, into the head space of each container (C) to enhance the integrity and rigidity of the package, and to improve the freshness and flavor of the container's contents. Notably, the dosing system (16) is configured to effect nitrogen injection close to or at the so-called transfer point of the capping machine (12), thus desirably abating nitrogen dissipation, and enhancing consistent and efficient product dosing.
(FR)Dispositif de capsulage et de dosage d'azote (10) conçu pour des réservoirs et comprenant une machine de capsulage rotative (12) conçue pour recevoir en série des réservoirs remplis (C) et leur appliquer respectivement des capsules (CL). Ce dispositif comporte un système de dosage (16) servant à injecter un gaz inerte, plus particulièrement, de l'azote sous forme liquide, dans l'espace de tête de chaque réservoir (C) afin d'augmenter l'intégrité et la rigidité de l'emballage et d'améliorer la fraîcheur et l'arôme du contenu du réservoir. Ce système de dosage (16) est notamment conçu pour effectuer l'injection de l'azote à proximité ou au niveau du point de transfert de la machine de capsulage (12), ce qui permet de limiter favorablement la dissipation de l'azote et d'augmenter le dosage du produit de manière constante et efficace.
