(EN) A method, apparatus, system and data structure is disclosed for mapping of spatial data to linear indexing for efficient computational storage, retrieval, integration, transmission, visual display, analysis, fusion, and modeling. These inventions are based on plane space being decomposed into uniform discrete closely packed (hexagonal) cell areas (85). Each resolution of closely packed cells can be further divided into congruent but denser clusters of closely packed cells. The spatial indexing (86) is applied in such a manner as to build a relationship with the spatially close cells of any resolution.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé, un appareil, un système et une structure de données pour le mappage de données spatiales selon un indexage linéaire afin de permettre l'extraction, l'intégration, la transmission, l'affichage visuel, l'analyse, la fusion, la modélisation et le stockage calculatoires efficaces. Ces procédé, appareil et système sont basés sur la décomposition de l'espace plan en zones alvéolaires (hexagonales) séparées (85), comprimées de manière serrée et régulières. Chaque résolution de cellules comprimées de manière serrée peut être encore divisée en groupements plus denses mais coïncidents de cellules comprimées de manière serrée. L'indexage spatial (86) est appliqué de sorte qu'une relation avec les cellules serrées dans l'espace de toute résolution soit construite.
