(EN)A motor generator assists torque production to supplement reduction of an output of a diesel engine that is transmitted to a drive shaft during gears are shifted. If an output that is required for the diesel engine when a clutch is engaged to complete gear shifting, the diesel engine is controlled to run within a smoke limit, and insufficiency in the output is supplemented by assisting the torque production with the motor generator. If the output that is required for the diesel engine does not exceed the smoke limit, the diesel engine is controlled to run at the output required, and the motor generator does not assist the torque production.
(FR)Une génératrice électrique compense la perte du couple produit par un moteur diesel et transmis à l'arbre de transmission pendant le changement de vitesse. Si la puissance requise du moteur diesel pour l'engrenage de l'embrayage en vue d'un changement de vitesse est réglée pour se situer dans une limite de fumées à l'échappement, l'insuffisance de couple produit est compensée par un surcroît de couple développé par la génératrice électrique.
