(EN) A honeycomb structure and a method of producing the honeycomb structure, where the structure is less likely to cause positional displacement by vibration and reduction in strength when the structure is received in a can body, and can be easily produced. A honeycomb structure body (1) has a cell structure portion (20) structured of partition walls (2) arranged so as to form axially penetrating cells (3), and an outer peripheral wall (7) provided on the outer periphery of the cell structure portion (20). The surface roughness Ra of the outer peripheral face of the outer peripheral wall (7) is 1-80 μm.
(FR) L'invention concerne une structure en nid d'abeille et son procédé de production. Cette structure est moins susceptible d'induire un changement de position par les vibrations et la réduction de résistance lorsque qu'elle est logée dans un corps de boîte, et peut être produite facilement. Un corps de structure en nid d'abeille (1) possède une partie à structure cellulaire (20) constituée de parois de séparation, et une paroi périphérique extérieure (7) prévue sur la périphérie extérieure des cellules de la partie à structure cellulaire (20). La rugosité de surface Ra de la face périphérique extérieure (7) est de 1-80 $g(m)m.
