(EN)A process is provided to deliver polynucleotide-based gene expression inhibitors to cells in a mammal in vivo for the purpose of inhibiting gene expression in the cells. Inhibition is sequence-specific and relies on sequence similaroty of the polynucleotide-based gene expression inhibitor and the target nucleic acid molecule. Delivery of the polynucleotide-based gene expression inhibitor can enhance the efficacy of co-delivered small molecule drugs.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé pour distribuer in vivo des inhibiteurs d'expression génique à base de polynucléotides dans des cellules mammifères afin d'inhiber une expression génique dans ces cellules. L'inhibition est spécifique à la séquence et repose sur une similitude de séquence entre l'inhibiteur d'expression génique à base de polynucléotides et la molécule d'acide nucléique cible. La distribution de l'inhibiteur d'expression génique à base de polynucléotides permet d'améliorer l'efficacité de médicaments à petite molécule administrés conjointement.
