Abstract
(EN) A flame-retardant compound is disclosed, comprising a polyolefin alloy and a combination of frame-retardant agents. The polyolefin alloy comprises at least one polyolefin and a metallocene-catalyzed olefin copolymer. The flame-retardant agents comprise a nanoclay and at least one inorganic flame-retardant. An essentially halogen-free flame-retardant compound is preferred. Surface coverings for mammalian-occupied spaces benefit from the properties of the flame-retardant compound.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un composé ignifugeant comprenant un alliage de polyoléfine et une combinaison d'agents ignifugeants. Cet alliage de polyoléfine comprend au moins une polyoléfine et un copolymère d'oléfine catalysé par un métallocène. Les agents ignifugeants comprennent une nanoargile et au moins un ignifugeant inorganique. On utilise de préférence un composé ignifugeant sensiblement dépourvu d'halogène. Les revêtements de surface destinés au espaces occupés par les mammifères bénéficient des propriétés de ce composé ignifugeant.
