Abstract
(EN) Thermostatic mixing valve (10) has a valve body (12), a cold fluid inlet (14), a hot fluid inlet (16) and a fluid outlet (18). Mixing chamber (24) is located between the respective fluid inlets (14, 16) and the fluid outlet (18). Thermostatic element (26) is located in or adjacent the mixing chamber and is arranged to contact a piston (22) at one end and via a mixing tube (28) the valve body (12) at the other end. . Piston (22) regulates flow through the fluid inlets (14, 16) into the mixing chamber (24). The piston (22) is can move due to continued expansion of the thermostatic element (26) after the piston has closed off the second fluid inlet (16). Valve body (12) has an internal thread (52) with which a thread on mixing tube (28) permits adjustment of the relative position of the thermostatic element (26) within the valve body (12) and hence the set temperature of the thermostatic mixing valve (10).
(FR) L'invention concerne un mitigeur thermostatique (10) qui comprend un corps (12), un orifice d'admission de fluide froid (14), un orifice d'admission de fluide chaud (16) et un orifice d'évacuation de fluide (18). Une chambre de mélange (24) situé entre les orifices d'admission de fluide respectifs (14, 16) et l'orifice d'évacuation de fluide (18). Un élément thermostatique (26), situé dans ou à proximité de la chambre de mélange, est conçu pour venir en contact avec un piston (22) au niveau d'une extrémité et via un tube de mélange (28) et le corps (12) du mitigeur au niveau de l'autre extrémité. Le piston (22) régule le débit dans les orifices d'admission de fluide (14, 16) dans la chambre de mélange (24). Le piston (22) peut se déplacer sous l'effet de l'expansion continue de l'élément thermostatique (26) après la fermeture du second orifice d'admission de fluide (16) par le piston. Un filetage intérieur (52) situé sur le corps (12) du mitigeur et un filetage situé sur le tube de mélange (28) permettent de régler la position de ce dernier par rapport à l'élément thermostatique (26) dans le corps (12) du mitigeur et, par conséquent, la température du mitigeur thermostatique (10).
