(EN)In a diversity handover, a mobile machine compares the quality of the received signal with a target quality, and based on the result of the comparison sends a transmission power control signal to the base station. Each base station counts the transmission power control signals received from the mobile machine and representing an instruction to reduce the transmission power and sends regularly the count to the base station control device. The base station control device sums the count every base station and determines that the downlink wireless transmission channel from the base station having the maximum sum to the mobile machine is best.
(FR)Dans un transfert de diversité, un appareil mobile compare la qualité du signal reçu à une qualité cible, et envoie, sur la base du résultat de la comparaison, un signal de commande de puissance de transmission à la station de base. Chaque station de base compte les signaux de commande de puissance de transmission reçus de l'appareil mobile, représentant une instruction de réduction de la transmission de puissance, et envoie régulièrement le compte au dispositif de commande de station de base. Ledit dispositif de commande de station de base fait la somme des comptes de chaque station de base et le canal de transmission radio de liaison descendante de la station de base présentant la somme maximale est identifié comme étant le meilleur.
