(EN)A method of changing the activity of hexokinases in a plant sink comprising introducing into the plant a gene encoding a fungal hexokinase. In the method, the gene is expressed in the plant seed tissue to produce the protein, thereby changing characteristics of hexokinase activity in the seed of the plant.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de modifier l'activité des hexokinases dans le puits d'une plante, consistant à introduire dans cette plante un gène codant pour une hexokinase fongique. Dans ce procédé, le gène est exprimé dans le tissu des semences de manière à produire la protéine correspondante, et à modifier ainsi les caractéristiques de l'activité hexokinase dans la semence de la plante.
