(EN)A free-flowing metallurgical powder comprises particles of metal and/or metal oxide having unagglomerated number average particle diameters of between 2 and 250 µm and a coating on the particles of an at least partially hydrolysed hydrolysable compound, the coating comprising from 0.05% to 5% by weight of the particle. A sintering process comprises providing the free-flowing powder composition into a mold, at least 99% by weight of the composition consisting of particles of metal and/or metal oxide and heating and pressing the composition to sinter the powder.
(FR)Une poudre métallurgique s'écoulant librement contient des particules de métal et/ou d'oxyde de métal ayant des diamètres particulaires moyens en nombre non agglomérés compris entre 2 et 250 $g(m)m ainsi qu'un revêtement sur les particules d'un composé hydrolysable au moins partiellement hydrolysé, le revêtement contenant 0,05 à 5 % en poids de la particule. Un procédé de frittage consiste à acheminer la composition en poudre s'écoulant librement jusque dans un moule, au moins 99 % en poids de la composition contenant des particules de métal et/ou d'oxyde de métal et à chauffer puis à presser la composition pour fritter la poudre.
