Abstract:
(EN) A magnetic field sensor includes a transistor device having a base region, an emitter region, and a collector region. A barrier region disposed between the emitter region and the collector region to hamper charge carriers injected into the base region from the emitter region from reaching at least a portion of the collector region. The magnetic field sensor further includes a first voltage source to bias the collector region with respect to the base region to form a space-charge layer associated with the collector region.
(FR) L'invention concerne un détecteur de champ magnétique comprenant un dispositif de transistor présentant une région de base, une région émettrice et une région collectrice. Une région barrière est disposée entre la région émettrice et la région collectrice afin d'empêcher que des porteurs de charge injectés dans la région de base à partir de la région émettrice n'atteignent au moins une partie de la région collectrice. Le détecteur de champ magnétique comprend également une première source de tension permettant de polariser la région collectrice par rapport à la région de base afin de former une couche de charge d'espace associée à la région collectrice.
