Abstract:
(EN) This invention is, generally, related to the process to transform the fatty acids present in the acid grounds of the palm, into methyl or ethyl esters and to the use of catalysts in this process. The process described in this invention is a catalytic process, presenting the ranges of optima conditions of reaction in terms of temperature, pressure, spatial time and concentration of reagents, to the efficient transformation of the fatty acids in esters. This invention is also related to the use of acid sites based solid catalysts in the process to transform the fatty acids of the palm into methyl or ethyl esters. The process of transformation of the acid grounds of the palm may be performed in batch, in a continuous reactor with agitation, as well as in continuous reactors of fixed bed.
(FR) L'invention concerne, de manière générale, le procédé de transformation des acides gras présents dans les grignons acides de palmier, dans des esters méthyliques ou éthyliques et l'utilisation de catalyseurs dans ledit procédé. Le procédé selon l'invention est un procédé catalytique présentant les plages de conditions optimales de réaction en termes de température, de pression, de temps spatial et de concentration de réactifs, pour la transformation efficace des acides gras en esters. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation de catalyseurs solides à base de sites acides dans le procédé de transformation des acides gras du palmier en esters méthyliques ou éthyliques. Le procédé de transformation de grignons acides de palmier peut être mis en oeuvre en discontinu, dans un réacteur continu à agitation, ainsi que dans des réacteurs continus à lit fixe.
