(EN)The present invention provides a flame-retardant formulation comprising, as flame-retardant ingredients, (a) tris (dichloropropyl) phosphate, and (b) tris (butoxyethyl) phosphate. The ratio of (a) to (b) is in the range of 99:1 to 75:25 by weight of the formulation. The invention also provides a method of making a polyurethane foam containing such a flame-retardant formulation from the reaction between a polymeric polyol and an aromatic isocyanate. In this method there is added to the foam-forming reaction mixture a flame-retardant amount of the flame-retardant formulation. The invention further provides a flame-retardant, low fogging, polyurethane foam made by this method.
(FR)L'invention concerne une formulation ignifuge comprenant, comme ingrédients ignifuges, (a) tris (dichloropropyl) phosphate et (b) tris (butoxyéthyl) phosphate. Le rapport de (a) à (b) est compris dans la gamme allant de 99:1 à 75:25 en poids de la formulation. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation d'une mousse polyuréthanne renfermant une telle formulation ignifuge à partir de la réaction entre un polyol polymère et un isocyanate aromatique. Dans ce procédé, une quantité de la formulation ignifuge est ajoutée au mélange de réaction formant la mousse. L'invention concerne enfin une mousse polyuréthanne ignifuge à faible nébulisation obtenue au moyen du procédé.
