(EN)Biomarkers have been discovered that are capable of identifying intra-amniotic inflammation. A single biomarker or combination of biomarkers can be used to qualify the risk of preterm delivery in a patient, provided that at least one of the biomarkers is a calgranulin, preferably calgranulin A or C. the result is a rapid and reliable proteomic approach to identifying intra-amniotic inflammation. In particular, the concentrations of the biomarkers correlate with the magnitude of intra-amniotic inflammation and, hence, of preterm delivery.
(FR)On a découvert des biomarqueurs capables d'identifier l'inflammation intra-amniotique. Un biomarqueur unique ou une combinaison de biomarqueurs peuvent être utilisés pour déterminer le risque d'accouchement prématuré chez une patiente à condition qu'au moins un des biomarqueurs soit une calgranuline, de préférence la calgranuline A ou C. Le résultat obtenu est une approche protéomique rapide et fiable qui permet d'identifier une inflammation intra-amniotique. En particulier, les concentrations des biomarqueurs sont en corrélation avec l'importance de l'inflammation intra-amniotique et, par conséquent, de l'accouchement prématuré.
