(EN)A low application temperature rubber-based hot melt adhesive having properties particularly well suited for use in the construction of disposable articles has been invented. The adhesive comprises a styrene block copolymer and a type of wax in an amount effective to produce a viscosity at 120°C of below about 10,000 centipoises, a cube flow at 130°F (54°C) of less than about 300%, a DSC crystallization temperature of less than about 75°C and a storage modulus of less than about 1.0 x 107 dynes/cm2 at 10 rads/sec (25°C).
(FR)L'invention concerne un adhésif caoutchouc thermofusible à basse température d'application possédant des propriétés convenant particulièrement à l'utilisation dans la fabrication d'articles jetables. Ledit adhésif comprend un copolymère en bloc de styrène et un type de cire en quantité efficace pour qu'une viscosité inférieure à environ 10 000 centipoises à 120 °C soit obtenue, un débit cubique à 130 °F (54°C) inférieur à environ 300 %, une température de cristallisation mesurée par calorimètre à compensation de puissance inférieure à environ 75 °C et un module de conservation inférieur à environ 1,0 x 107 dynes/cm2 à 10 rads/s (25°C).
