(EN)Undesirable dissolved gas is removed from a liquid (12) by pressurizing the liquid containing the undesirable dissolved gas therein. The liquid is then directed into a hydrocyclone (10) having an inlet (16) optimized for liquid particle movement through a liquid vortex stream (26) created by the hydrocyclone (10). A preferred gas (30) is injected into an evacuated central area (28) of the liquid vortex stream (26) for absorption therein. The pressure of the tank (36) is then lowered, such as by directing the liquid to a discharge tank (72), in order to remove a proportional amount of absorbed preferred gas and the undesirable dissolved gas from the liquid.

Le liquide est alors dirigé jusque dans un hydrocyclone (10) présentant une entrée (16) optimisée pour le mouvement particulaire liquide à travers un flux à vortex liquide (26) créé par l'hydrocyclone (10).
