(EN)The present invention discloses a corneal refractive procedure providing a customized transition zone. The customized transition zone provided according to the methods (900) and systems (1000) of the present invention exhibits continuous curvature between an ablated optical zone and a non-ablated zone to address curvature discontinuity at the edge of the optical zone, thereby minimizing the biomechanical response and its post-operative effects on vision.
(FR)L'invention se rapporte à une intervention chirurgicale réfractive de la cornée concernant une zone de transition sur mesure. Ladite zone de transition obtenue selon les méthodes et systèmes décrits présente une courbure continue entre une zone optique ablatée et une zone non ablatée permettant de diriger la discontinuité de courbure au niveau du bord de la zone optique, minimisant ainsi la réponse biomécanique et ses effets postopératoires sur la vision.
