(EN)The invention relates to a downhall (1) comprising a telescopic inner tube (4) and outer tube (5). The invention is characterised in that it comprises an inner body (13) which is housed inside the two tubes and which contains at least one block (11) to which it is attached. According to the invention, when the block is not being subjected to any external stress, the aforementioned inner body is designed to slide in one direction parallel to the axis of the tubes under the force of an actuating element (21), thereby triggering a locking mechanism which is designed to block the two tubes. Moreover, when the block is being subjected to a stress opposite to that exerted by the actuating element, said inner body is designed to slide in the opposite direction, thereby causing the two tubes to separate by releasing the locking mechanism.
(FR)La présente invention se rapporte à un hale-bas (1) comportant un tube interne (4) et un tube externe (5) télescopiques, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un corps interne (13) logé dans les deux tubes et contenant au moins une moufle (11) qui lui est rattachée, ledit corps interne étant apte :- lorsque la moufle ne subit aucune contrainte extérieure, à coulisser dans un sens parallèle à l'axe des tubes sous l'action d'un organe actionneur (21), ce coulissement permettant d'enclencher un mécanisme de verrouillage conçu pour réaliser le blocage des deux tubes,- lorsque la moufle subit une contrainte opposée à celle exercée par l'organe actionneur, à coulisser dans un sens contraire, ce coulissement permettant d'obtenir la désolidarisation des deux tubes par désengagement du mécanisme de verrouillage
