(EN)A method for producing a topologically structured film or coating comprises making a mixture of at least two liquid crystalline materials of which one is crosslinkable and the other is not crosslinkable. Then the mixture is applied to a substrate which has been pre-coated with an orientation layer. At least a substantial portion of the crosslinkable material is crosslinked by exposure to actinic radiation and at least a substantial portion of the not crosslinkable material is removed. During the step of crosslinking the intensity of the radiation is kept different in different areas to generate complex surface profiles with only one irradiation step.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé pour produire un film ou revêtement à structure topologique, comprenant la préparation d'un mélange d'au moins deux substances cristallines liquides dont l'une est réticulable alors que l'autre ne l'est pas. Le mélange est ensuite appliqué sur un substrat qui a été pré-revêtu d'une couche d'orientation. Au moins une partie importante de la substance réticulable est réticulée par exposition à un rayonnement actinique et au moins une partie importante de la substance non réticulable est éliminée. Au cours de l'étape de réticulation, l'intensité du rayonnement appliqué diffère dans les différentes zones afin de produire des profils de surface complexes avec seulement une étape de rayonnement.
