Abstract

The invention concerns a pressure-assisted cistern valve (10) of the type that includes a replenishing water inlet (12) and a cistern outlet (56) and a diaphragm (30). The diaphragm separates a first pressure space (72) which is exposed in use to replenishing water supplied to the inlet from a second pressure space (70). The diaphragm is arranged to be biased by the pressure of the replenishing water to an open position in which it allows the replenishing water to flow to the cistern outlet. There is a bleed orifice (36) to convey bleed water through the diaphragm from the first pressure space to the second pressure space. Advantageously the bleed orifice is formed in the tip of a hollow projection carried centrally by the diaphragm and communicating with the first pressure space. A further advantage is that there is no pin or the like in the bleed orifice.

L'invention concerne une vanne (10) de citerne assistée par pression du type comprenant une entrée (12) d'eau de remplissage et une sortie (56) de citerne et un diaphragme (30). Ce diaphragme sépare un premier espace de pression (72) exposé, en cours d'utilisation, à l'eau de remplissage fournie à l'entrée depuis un deuxième espace de pression (70). Ledit diaphragme est conçu pour être sollicité par la pression de l'eau de remplissage en une position ouverte dans laquelle il permet à l'eau de remplissage de couler dans la sortie de citerne. Un orifice de prélèvement (36) permet de transporter de l'eau de prélèvement dans le diaphragme depuis le premier espace de pression jusqu'au deuxième espace de pression. De manière avantageuse, ledit orifice de prélèvement est formé dans l'embout d'un élément saillant creux porté de manière centrale par le diaphragme et communiquant avec le premier espace de pression. Un autre avantage de l'invention réside dans le fait qu'aucune broche ou élément analogue ne se situe dans ledit orifice de prélèvement.
