Abstract

A swimming aid (10) including a body portion (11), upon which is situated a locating means (12) for the foot of the wearer. The swimming aid (10) also includes a lobular flexible web (13) and at least two ribs (14), each of which contain a plurality of segments (15). The segments of each rib cooperating to stiffen said flexible web against flexion substantially above the plane of said body portion.

La présente invention concerne un flotteur (10) comprenant une partie corps (11) sur laquelle se trouve un moyen de positionnement (12) destiné au pied de l'utilisateur. Le flotteur (10) décrit dans cette invention comprend également une bande souple à lobes (13) et au moins deux nervures (14) contenant, chacune, une multitude de segments (15). Les segments de chaque nervure coopèrent de manière à renforcer ladite bande souple pour l'empêcher de se tordre essentiellement au dessus du plan de la partie corps.
