The invention relates to a method and device for forming marks and lands by applying a radiation beam to a recording surface of an optical record carrier. During a recording process a reading power level is set in dependence with a recording power level (recording speed). Additionally, cooling gaps are proposed immediately after the recording pulses. The reading during the recording is carried out only for longer lands. The invention relates to a optical record carrier, where the formula for determining the reading power is contained in the control information.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de former des repères et des intervalles par application d'un faisceau de rayonnement sur une surface d'enregistrement d'un support d'enregistrement optique. Pendant le processus d'enregistrement, un niveau de puissance de lecture est fixé en fonction d'un niveau de puissance d'enregistrement (vitesse d'enregistrement). De plus, des espaces de refroidissement sont prévus après les impulsions d'enregistrement. La lecture pendant l'enregistrement est effectuée uniquement pour les intervalles les plus longues. Cette invention concerne un support d'enregistrement optique dans lequel la formule permettant de déterminer la puissance de lecture est contenue dans les informations de commande.
