(EN)The present invention is related to thermostable TLP variants with altered substrate specificity. Specifically, the thermostable protease variants are derived from the wild type thermostable protease isolated from Bacillus Caldolyticus so that they efficiently and selectively cleave substrates containing basic or acidic residues. The invention further relates to the nucleic acids encoding these novel polypeptides, as well as the recombinant materials and methods for producing these protease variants. The present invention also provides compositions comprising such a TLP variant for various proteolysis applications.
(FR)La présente invention concerne des variants TLP thermostables avec une spécificité de substrat modifiée. Plus particulièrement, ces variants de protéase thermostable sont dérivés de protéase thermostable de type sauvage isolée de <i>Bacillus Caldolyticus</i> de sorte qu'ils clivent efficacement et sélectivement des substrats contenant des résidus basiques ou acides. Cette invention concerne aussi les acides nucléiques codant pour ces nouveaux polypeptides, ainsi que des matériaux de recombinaison et des techniques de productions de ces variants de protéase.
