(EN)A corrosion-inhibiting coating, process, and system that provides a tight, adherent zinc- or zinc-alloy coating that is directly deposited onto steel or cast iron surfaces for enhanced corrosion protection. A process for applying the coating is also provided. The process includes the application of two sequential aqueous baths. The first bath contains a precursor zinc compound while the second bath contains a reducing agent to deposit the zinc directly upon the steel or cast iron.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un revêtement inhibiteur de corrosion, un processus et un système qui permettent d'obtenir un revêtement à adhésion étroite de zinc ou d'alliage de zinc qui est déposé directement sur des surfaces d'acier ou de fonte en vue d'une protection contre la corrosion renforcée. Cette invention concerne aussi un processus d'application de ce revêtement. Ce processus comprend l'application de deux bains aqueux séquentiels. Le premier bain contient un composé de zinc précurseur alors que le second bain contient un agent de réduction destiné à déposer directement le zinc sur l'acier ou la fonte.
