Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Messung des Füllstandes eines Fluids, insbesondere einer Flüssigkeit, in einem Behälter durch Messung des mittleren Ladestroms eines oder mehrerer Kondensatoren, die periodisch aufgeladen und entladen werden. Die Erfindung betrifft außerdem einen entsprechenden, zur Durchführung des Verfahrens geeigneten Füllstandssensor, der eine Gleichspannungsquelle (11), wenigstens ein kapazitives Sensorelement (14), das eine Messelektrode (13) und eine Gegenelektrode (15) aufweist, einen elektronischen Schalter (12), der periodisch zwischen einer ersten Stellung zum Aufladen der Messelektrode (13) und einer zweiten Stellung zum Entladen der Messelektrode (13) schaltbar ist, und Mittel (18) zur Messung des zwischen der Gleichspannungsquelle (11) und der Messelektrode (13) fließenden mittleren Ladestroms umfasst.

The invention relates to a method for measuring the level of a fluid, especially a liquid, in a container by measuring the average charging current of one or several capacitors which are periodically charged and discharged. The invention also relates to a corresponding level sensor suitable for carrying out said method, comprising a direct-current voltage source (11), at least one capacitive sensor element (14) consisting of a measuring electrode (13) and a counter electrode (15), an electronic switch (12) which can be periodically shifted between a first position for charging the measuring electrode (13) and a second position for discharging the measuring electrode (13), and means (18) for measuring the average charging current flowing between the direct-current voltage source (11) and the measuring electrode (13).

Procédé de mesure du niveau d'un fluide, en particulier d'un liquide, dans un réservoir sur la base de la mesure du courant de charge moyen d'un ou plusieurs condensateurs qui sont chargés et déchargés périodiquement. La présente invention concerne en outre un capteur de niveau correspondant, adapté pour la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé, qui possède une source de tension continue (11), au moins un élément capteur capacitif (14) comportant une électrode de mesure (13) et une contre-électrode (15), un commutateur électronique (12) qui peut être commuté périodiquement entre une première position de charge de l'électrode de mesure (13) et une seconde position de décharge de l'électrode de mesure (13), et des moyens (18) de mesure du courant de charge moyen circulant entre la source de tension continue (11) et l'électrode de mesure (13).
