A rotary screw machine comprises an outer enclosing screw element (1) having a profiled inner surface (101), an inner enclosed screw element (19) having a profiled outer surface (219) and at least two intermediate screw elements (2,18) which are both enclosing and enclosed and have both a profiled inner surface (102,118) and a profiled outer surface (202,218). These screw elements (1,2,18) and (19) form a series of which each enclosed element is housed coaxially in the respective next enclosing element. At least two screw elements can be coupled to each other, for example by a crank (17). The coupled screw elements can be those which have an even ordinal number all or an uneven ordinal number all when counted starting with the inner enclosed screw element. Alternatively, those screw elements which are placed with eccentricity to the principal axis can be mechanically coupled. In a further alternative, those screw elements having profiled surfaces with uneven numbers of undulations all or with even numbers of undulations all can be coupled.

L'invention concerne une machine volumétrique à vis comprenant un élément à vis extérieur entourant (1), de surface intérieure profilée (101), un élément à vis intérieur entouré (19), de surface extérieure profilée (219), et au moins deux éléments à vis intermédiaires (2,18), tous les deux, entourant et entouré, de surface intérieure profilée (102,118) et de surface extérieure profilée (202,218). Ces éléments à vis (1, 2, 18 et 19) forment une série dans laquelle chaque élément entouré est disposé coaxialement à l'élément entourant respectif suivant. Au moins deux éléments à vis peuvent être couplés l'un à l'autre, par exemple par une coulisse (17). Les éléments à vis couplés peuvent être ceux qui ont tous un nombre ordinal impair, ou tous de nombre ordinal pair, la numération débutant par l'élément à vis intérieur entouré. Dans un mode de réalisation, ces éléments à vis, excentrés par rapport à l'axe principal peuvent être mécaniquement couplés. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, ces éléments à vis, à surfaces profilées, possédant tous un nombres impair d'ondulations, ou possédant tous un nombre pair d'ondulations peuvent être couplés.
