(EN)A spray-dried composition comprising an inert porous filler and a reaction product of 1) a mixture or reaction product of a magnesium halide, a solvent, an electron donor compound, and a transition metal compound. The filler is substantially spherical and has an average particle size ranging from 1 μm to 12μm. Methods of making spray-dried compositions, catalysts, and polymerization processes employing such compositions are also described.
