(EN)A design and a manufacturing method of ultrasound transducers based on films of ferro−electric ceramic material is presented, the transducers being particularly useful for operating at frequencies above 10 MHz. The designs also involve acoustic load matching layers that provides particularly wide bandwidth of the transducers, and also multiple electric port transducers using multiple piezoelectric layers, for multi−band operation of the transducers over an even wider band of frequencies that covers ü 4 harmonics of a fundamental band. The design and method is particularly directed to the use of a load matched non−piezoelectric layer, adjacent to one of the electrodes, for modulation of the transducer frequency and as a contamination protection layer during the sintering process.
(FR)L'invention se rapporte à la conception de transducteurs ultrasonores à base de films en matériau céramique ferroélectrique qui peuvent en particulier fonctionner à des fréquences supérieures à 10 MHz, ainsi qu'à leur procédé de production. L'invention concerne également des transducteurs comportant des couches d'adaptation d'impédance acoustique qui leur confèrent une bande passante particulièrement large, ainsi que des transducteurs à ports électriques multiples, constitués de couches piézo-électriques multiples qui permettent un fonctionnement multibande sur une bande de fréquences encore plus large couvrant approximativement 4 harmoniques d'une bande fondamentale. La conception de ces transducteurs et le procédé selon l'invention font en particulier appel à une couche non piézo-électrique adaptée en impédance, qui est adjacente à une des électrodes, permet de moduler la fréquence du transducteur et sert de couche anti-contamination lors du processus de frittage.
