(EN)A fluted filter medium (74) comprising a corrugated filter sheet, where each flute (120) has an end closure defined by a regular fold arrangement in the corresponding corrugation. Each regular fold arrangement has at least four folds. A process for manufacturing the fluted filter medium comprising deforming a portion of each corrugation to define at least one foldable tip, and folding the said tip in order to close the corrugation.
(FR)L'invention concerne un moyen de filtrage cannelé (74) comprenant une feuille filtrante ondulée, chaque cannelure (120) étant pourvue d'une fermeture terminale définie par une structure à plis réguliers réalisée dans la cannelure respective. Chaque structure à plis réguliers comporte au moins quatre plis. La présente invention se rapporte par ailleurs à un procédé de production de ce moyen de filtrage cannelé, qui consiste à déformer une partie de chaque cannelure pour définir au moins une pointe pliable, et à plier cette pointe pour fermer ladite cannelure.
