Abstract:
(EN) A medical needle assembly includes a needle cannula having a body and a tip. The tip is disposed at a distal end of the cannula. An elongate member has a first end and a second end. The first end is fixedly attached to the body of the needle cannula at a connection point and the second end extends radially outward from the needle body. A shield is slidingly mounted to the needle for movement between a proximal position to a distal position. The shield includes a shield body having a central chamber, a distal end and a proximal end as well as a plate secured to the shield body and defining an aperture. As the shield is moved from the proximal position to the distal position, the place displaces the second end of the elongate member to a position near the needle cannula, permitting the elongate member to pass through the aperture. When the shield is in the distal position, the send end of the elongate member extends radially outward from the needle body, preventing passage of the elongate member through the aperture. The elongate member may be a leaf spring. A feature may be secured to the body of the cannula to restrict movement of the shield with respect to the needle.
(FR) L'invention concerne un assemblage d'aiguille médicale comprenant une canule d'aiguille constituée d'un corps et d'un embout. L'embout est disposé à une extrémité distale de la canule. Un élément oblong comprend des première et seconde extrémités. La première extrémité est attachée de façon fixe au corps de la canule de l'aiguille en un point de connexion et la seconde extrémité est orientée radialement vers l'extérieur du corps de l'aiguille. Une protection est montée coulissante sur l'aiguille afin d'être déplacée entre des positions proximale et distale. Cette protection comprend un corps de protection comportant une chambre centrale, des extrémités proximale et distale ainsi qu'une plaque fixée au corps de la protection et définissant une ouverture. Lorsque la protection est déplacée de la position proximale vers la position distale, la plaque déplace la seconde extrémité de l'élément oblong sur une position proche de la canule de l'aiguille, ce qui permet à l'élément oblong de passer par l'ouverture. Lorsque la protection se trouve dans la position distale, la seconde extrémité de l'élément oblong s'oriente radialement à l'extérieur du corps de l'aiguille, ce qui empêche le passage de l'élément oblong par l'ouverture. L'élément oblong peut être un ressort à lames. Il est possible de fixer une caractéristique au corps de la canule afin de restreindre le déplacement de la protection par rapport à l'aiguille.
