(EN)A polyamide having an equilibrium water absorption of 10% or lower is used as the main raw material. An example of the polyamide having an equilibrium water absorption of 10% or lower is a polyamide obtained from a dicarboxylic acid ingredient comprising 60 to 100 mol% terephthalic acid and a diamine ingredient comprising 60 to 100 mol% 1,9-nonanediamine and/or 2-methyl-1,8-octanediamine. Due to the use of the polyamide, a porous membrane is obtained which undergoes an extremely small dimensional change even through hot-water treatment and is useful especially as, e.g., a medical separation membrane capable of AC sterilization.
(FR)L'invention concerne un polyamide, utilisé entant que matériau brut principal, dont l'équilibre d'absorption en eau est de 10 % ou moins. Un exemple de polyamide possédant un équilibre d'absorption en eau de 10 % ou moins, est un polyamide obtenu à partir d'un composant acide dicarboxylique contenant entre 60 et 100 moles % d'acide téréphtalique et d'un composant diamine contenant entre 60 et 100 moles % de 1,9-nonanediamine et/ou de 2-méthyl-1,8-octanediamine. L'utilisation de ce polyamide permet d'obtenir une membrane poreuse dont le changement dimensionnel reste très faible même dans un traitement à l'eau chaude et qui est utile spécialement comme membrane de séparation médicale pouvant supporter une stérilisation AC.
