(EN)The invention relates to the use of oxidation products of various phospholipid categories (phosphatidylcholines, ethanolamines, phosphatidylserines) for inhibiting the activation of TLR4 by LPS and the inflammatory processes resulting therefrom, in vitro and in vivo, by inhibiting LPS-induced signal transduction paths, the expression of inflammatory genes, tissue damage or the like. The invention also relates to the use of OXPAPC for treating the formation of oedemae and entotoxin-induced shock.
(FR)L'invention concerne l'utilisation de produits d'oxydation de différentes classes de phospholipides (phosphatidylcholines, éthanolamines, phosphatidylsérines) pour inhiber l'activation de TLR4 par LPS et les processus inflammatoires qui en résultent, in vitro et in vivo, par inhibition des voies de transduction de signaux induites par LPS, inhibition de l'expression de gènes inflammatoires, de lésions tissulaires ou similaires. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de OXPAPC pour traiter la formation d'oedèmes et le choc induit par l'endotoxine.
