(EN)The invention relates to methods and compositions for modulating the biofilm formation by bacteria. In particular, the invention provides a method for reducing biofilm formation by bacteria comprising administering a control agent wherein the control agent is glucose, a glucose analogue, an adenylate cyclase inhibitor, a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, or a IIAGlc dephosphorylation stimulator. The invention also provides a method for enhancing biofilm formation by bacteria comprising administering cAMP or a cAMP analogue.
(FR)L'invention concerne des méthodes et des compositions destinées à moduler la formation d'un biofilm par des bactéries. L'invention concerne en particulier une méthode pour réduire la formation d'un biofilm par des bactéries, consistant à administrer un agent de contrôle, cet agent de contrôle étant du glucose, un analogue du glucose, un inhibiteur de l'adénylate cyclase, un inhibiteur de la phosphodiestérase ou un stimulateur de déphosphorylation de IIAGlc. L'invention concerne en outre une méthode destinée à favoriser la formation d'un biofilm par des bactéries, cette méthode consistant à administrer de l'AMPc ou un analogue de l'AMPc.
