(EN)A method of determining an acquisition indicator bit AIs at a receiver in a communication system which includes receiving multiplexed acquisition indicator bits y = B x AI + n, where B is the signature matrix known at both base station and the receiver, is all the acquisition indicator bits and n represents noise. Next, an estimated value of the acquisition indicator bit ML (s) as a function of formula (I) is calculated, where BT (s,.) is the s-th row vector of the transposed matrix BT for acquisition indicator bit AIs. Finally, the acquisition indicator bit AIs is set as follows: AIs = -1, if ML (s) < R AIs = 0, if RML (s) < U AIs = 1, if ML (s)U, where R and U are decision thresholds.
(FR)Procédé visant à déterminer un bit indicateur d'acquisition AIs dans un récepteur d'un système de communication. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à : recevoir des bits indicateurs d'acquisition multiplexés y = B x AI + n, B représentant la matrice signature connue à la station de base et au récepteur, AI représente tous les bits indicateurs d'acquisition et n représente le bruit ; calculer ensuite une valeur estimée du bit indicateur d'acquisition AIML (s) en fonction de la formule (I), BT (s,.) représentant le sème vecteur de rangée de la matrice transposée BT pour le bit indicateur d'acquisition AIs ; et fixer le bit indicateur d'acquisition AIs comme suit : AIs = -1, si AIML (s) < R AIs = 0, si R = AIML (s) < U AIs = 1, si AIML (s) = U, R et <i>U représentant des seuils de décision.
