(EN)The present invention relates to the use of mutated AHAS genes conferring resistance to herbicides and resulting in an highly efficient selection system for the production of transgenic potato lines. The invention provides a key advantage by minimizing the escapes to almost zero of all shoots regenerated without interfering with the high number of shoots regenerated per explant.
(FR)La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de gènes AHAS mutants résistant aux herbicides et permettant d'obtenir un système de sélection hautement efficace pour la production de lignées de pommes de terre transgéniques. Un avantage clé de l'invention est la minimisation des fuites n'affectant presque aucune pousse régénérée sans pour cela réduire le nombre élevé de pousses régénérées par explant.
