(EN)Disclosed are methods and compositions for the treatment of a variety of illnesses by mimicking the outer leaflet of an apoptotic cell to allow for the induction of macrophage phagocytosis to serve as a means of removing unwanted and diseased cells using phosphatidylserine/cell-surface recognition domain conjugate compositions. Also disclosed are methods for making phosphatidylserine/cell-surface recognition domain conjugate compositions and their formulation for use in various pharmaceutical applications including the treatment of diverse cancers and other maladies.
