Techniques for scheduling terminals with different scheduling delays. Initially, the scheduling delay of each terminal is determined, and the total available transmit power and the link efficiency of each terminal are estimated. In a first scheme, the terminals are scheduled for data transmission based on the longest scheduling delay among the delays of all terminals. In a second scheme, each terminal is assigned a particular priority based on its scheduling delay, and the terminals are scheduled based on their assigned priorities. In a third scheme, the terminals are categorized into classes based on their scheduling delays. A percentage of the total available transmit power is allocated to each class, and the terminals in each class are scheduled based on the transmit power allocated to that class. In a fourth scheme, the terminals are scheduled for data transmission, and the schedule for each terminal is applied after its scheduling delay.

La présente invention concerne des techniques d'ordonnancement de terminaux à retards d'ordonnancement différents. On commence par déterminer le retard d'ordonnancement de chaque terminal, puis on calcule la puissance d'émission totale disponible ainsi que le rendement de la liaison de chaque terminal. Une première logique consiste à faire l'ordonnancement des terminaux en se basant sur le retard d'ordonnancement le plus long de l'ensemble des terminaux. Une deuxième logique consiste à affecter à chaque terminal une priorité particulière sur la base de son retard d'ordonnancement, puis à ordonnancer les terminaux sur la base des priorités ainsi affectées. Une troisième logique consiste à répartir les terminaux en classes correspondant à leurs retards d'ordonnancement. On affecte à chaque classe un pourcentage de la puissance de transmission totale disponible, puis on ordonnance les terminaux de chaque classe sur la base de la puissance d'émission affectée à cette classe. Une quatrième logique consiste à ordonnancer les terminaux en vie de la transmission des données et à appliquer l'ordonnance de chaque terminal après écoulement de son retard d'ordonnancement.
